Operation Write Home

Join us Saturday September 15th between 1pm - 4pm for Operation Write Home.  We will making handmade cards for our deployed heroes to send home to their families.  Some supplies will be provided, if you choose to purchase your own card making supplies you will receive a 10% discount.  If you think you can't design a card....no worries, Mary has provided kits you can simply put together.  Please bring your basic supplies: adhesive, scissors, chalks, glue dots, ruler, etc....

If you have any Christmas cards made to donate, we need to have them in this week so we can get them shipped off. 

 

 

Operation Write Home

Calling all card makers...we need your help making cards for our troops to send home to their families.  We've had lots of beautiful cards donated and we THANK YOU, but we're always in need of more! 

Here's how it works - you come into Paradise Scrapbook Boutique on September 28th, any time between 10am - 5pm.  We supply the materials, a nice cool place to create cards and we will ship them for you.  If you can't make it on that day we are happy to ship the cards you have created.  ***Remember there's NO COST to you.

We have to pat ourselves on the back for a job well done!  Our card count is 378 and still growing.  We are so pleased with all of the help and card donations we have received.  It's been another successful card making month!

If you'd like to join us, we will meet again on April 26th from 10am - 5pm. Remember, you can bring cards in any time to be donated.

Operation Write Home

 
We are so excited about OWH, it was a hugh success!  We had several volunteers throughout the day and we ended up with over 200 cards!  THANK YOU to all of you who participated. (Thanks mom for ALL of the cards you sent to us - we got off to a great start!) We made it onto the local news last night and had a wonderful article written by Elizabeth De Alwis at the Paradise Post.

If you are interested in donating cards or your time making them, this will be an on going project.  We will meet every 4th Monday of the month from 10am - 5pm and hope to add a second day as well. 

*** We just ask that you provide your own basic supplies; adhesive, chalk, scissors, ruler, cutter and pop dots. We will supply the rest.

Paradise Scrapbook Boutique is excited to announce that we will be participating in Operation Write Home - card making for the men and women in the military. 

Starting February 22nd, we will have card making days each month to make cards for our heros to send home to their families.  PSB will provide cards, envelopes, paper and embellishments - we just ask that you bring your own basic supplies (scissors, paper trimmer, adhesives, etc.).  If you have any questions, please call the store at 876-8037.  We will have the crop room open for card making from 10am - 5pm, so stop in any time and join us for a day of fun!  http://operationwritehome.org/
