National Scrapbook Day was a blast and we really, REALLY tried to get the winners posted last night but we only got as far as putting the winner's names on the blog...at 2:00am...(yep, 4th night in a row!) so we had to call it a night...

Our National Scrapbook Day theme started with "the fabric". We bought this pretty fabric in LA back in February when we were there for CHA, knowing it would be the theme for NSD...
Little did we know we would fine "the perfect paper" the very next day at the CHA show...Twig, by Little Yellow Bicycle.

It was a busy weekend and we're pretty exhausted but, it's a good kind of tired. :) We had a blast and want to thank all of the wonderful ladies who spent the last two days celebrating National Scrapbook Day with us here at Paradise Scrapbook Boutique!

We had the most delicious deserts catered by Wendy Deen. YES, they tasted as good as they look! We love to spoil the ladies.
We couldn't have a crop without PRIMA FLOWERS, they are always a big hit (remember the flower frenzy from the Anniversary crop)?! :)
GCD was our favorite at CHA, the designer Melody Ross (formally with ChatterBox) designs for them now, and WOW were we impressed! We have stocked up on the Chip Art tools and chipboard, Artsy Urban paper and embellishments and Home Spun collection. You really need to see their product in person, it's amazing!
I have to say THANKS to Deb for the beautiful sign she made for our GCD display!

Well, maybe she won't mind collecting this: a $25 Paradise Scrapbook Boutique gift certificate! Boy did we have some doozies - but Jennie Grant was the lucky winner with the most votes in our "Most Painful to Look At" layout contest! It's always fun (and sometimes a little frightening) to look back at our early layouts to see just how much our styles and tastes have changed. Paradise Scrapbook Boutique is celebrating National Scrapbook Day a little differently this year...
The first weekend in May we'll be holding our annual yard sale on Friday and Saturday (we're reserving tables now for May 2 and 3rd)! Then, the following weekend, PSB will be celebrating National Scrapbook Day "Crop Style" May 9, 10 and 11th! (However, we won't be taking sign-ups until April 1st.
We are pleased to have our NSD Crop catered by none other than Sandra Sage! Sandra has catered previous crops for us and always does an amazing job - the food is fantastic and the presentation is always gorgeous.
Sandra is also the author of the new cookbook "Love on a Plate"; her cookbook is full of wonderful stories. There have been many lives that have touched her through her services and in return she has shared her talents and brought love to their table. Sandra feels it's important to take the time to make sure our families and friends know how much we care by serving them love through the art of cooking.
