What can we say, Day 2 of CHA was another huge success! Our bags are stuffed with catalogs and the memory card in the camera is filling up, but we are finding TONS of new products and designs that you're going to love from companies like Crate Paper, Melissa Frances, FarmHouse Paper Company, Jenni Bowlin, Prima, and more.
Here are a few more sneak peek photos and samples for you. And be sure to check the CHA Winter 2013 album on our Facebook page for even more photos!
Elle's Studio, what a sweet layout
FarmHouse Paper Company recipe book sample out of Country Kitchen (yes - Paradise Scrapbook Boutique has ordered this line and the recipe book kits too)!
FarmHouse Paper Company trinket box is on the way - doesn't this look like fun?
Crate Paper's booth - love them!
Maggie Holmes for Crate Paper (she is as adorable as her little girl AND her paper line)!
Another Maggie Holmes for Crate Paper layout...
So pretty - here's a peek at a softer side of Prima
A little home decor made with Tim Holtz Sizzix...
Cute stamp set of mini album covers by Jenni Bowlin...
We are so excited about the NEW Melissa Frances paper and embellishments. Kitschy Kitchen is for the domesticated woman who not only cooks, but is CREATIVE too! We've have 12x12 paper pads, tags and recipe cards in two styles. This is why we heart Melissa Frances.
Beautiful antique bottles using vintage gems, ribbon, jewels and glitter. Deb has an eye for little treasures and was kind enough to share her personal collection with the ladies to design their own bottles. We saw some beautiful creations! If you weren't able to make it - we have a few kits left over and will be selling some of the sample bottles. (We saw these beautiful bottles in Somerset LIFE and had to try them for the gift workshop!)
Another project Deb made was a vintage inspired wall hanging (designed by Linda Albrecht for Melissa Frances). She used a Melissa Frances bingo card and an old fashioned picture but you can add your own photo to personalize it!
We are excited to be stocked up on Melissa Francis papers and embellishments - we love when our shelves are filled to the brim! Also in are Vintage Colonial Houses, Designer Stickers and more boy and girl Flashcards.
We are so remiss and want to make up for it, so here goes...
Back in September - September 14 to be exact - we were lucky enough to be featured on the Melissa Frances blog! While blog hopping, they found our store and liked our display of their beautiful Attic Treasures line and asked if they could post some of our pictures on their blog. (Yes, yes, yes!!!) Seriously, their Attic Treasures line looks like it was made for our store - just check out their darling Bingo card books, beautiful vintage look papers, mica flakes, chipboard alphabets, boy and girl chipboard flashcards, cutest shaped baby albums and Attic Treasures mini albums (both of these albums have the cutest multi shaped pages!) and more.
Thank you Melissa Frances - we are honored to have been featured on your beautiful blog! We look forward to seeing you at Scrapbook Expo in Sacramento on October 16th and if you have a little extra time, stop in and say hi - Paradise is less than an hour and a half away!
We are always pleased when a shipment from Melissa Frances arrives, we can't wait to tear into the boxes and squeal with delight as we unpack all of the wonderful papers, embellishments, mini albums etc... We have in stock four styles of Vintage Attic Treasures Mini Albums. There are bingo books that would be perfect for those vintage photos - you can layer, embellish and distress. Attic Treasures and Baby Mini Albums have different sized pages and tags inside ready to add photos.
Okay, okay, we realize we're a tad bit tardy here posting about the joys of CHA (still playing catch up here, ladies!) but have we got some eye candy for you.
It would be impossible to choose just ONE favorite thing from this mega shopping trip otherwise known as CHA (plus we realize now that we don't even have photos from all of the companies we ordered from), so we invite you to enjoy a stroll with us through CHA...
Feeling Fancy? Here's a taste of their new Kraft Kuts line:
Webster's Pages has beautiful new lines with some deeper colors along with loads of beautiful new trims. (Yes, we ordered lots of paper and lots of trim - you'll love it all!)
New magazines in da' house (almost)! Tired of the usual CK fare? Yep, us too, so, coming soon to your favorite store (Paradise Scrapbook Boutique, of course) are magazines and specialty issues from Stampington / Somerset! You are going to be so inspired by the beautiful projects in these magazines! Just don't let Karen fool you if she calls them Sunset. :)
Next up is pretty, pretty Prima. Besides their beautiful flowers, they have flocked transparencies and some papers that we can't wait to surprise you with. :)
We have pictures of samples made by our very own Christie Bryant for the Graphic 45 booth! Beautiful as always Christie and G45 too!! (Christie's samples are the red and blue book on the 3rd shelf, and the banner in the next picture.) Rachiel got to check out ALL of their paper lines in person - how do you ever pick a favorite?
Teresa Collins makes the most amazing mini book samples and you can tell that we were all inspired by her after CHA last winter (just take a look back at some of the cool classes you took here over the last year). Teresa has done it again with her new paper lines, transparencies, stamps and accessories - you're going to love it!
Don't you love the work of this artist, Wendy Vecchi? We will be carrying some of her Studio 490 stamps from Stamper's Anonymous. Look at the gorgeous flowers she made using her Studio 490 stamps, Ranger inks and the new Tim Holtz Grunge Paper:
Another reason we love CHA is that the displays can be so inspiring. What do you think of this 7 gypsies chandelier???
We did some serious damage at the Sassafras Lass booth...check out a sampling of their new Vintage Yummy line! Yummy, isn't it?
And talk about cool displays! Sassafras Lass has these great display windows around the outside of their booth with oversized ideas from their new lines. Check out the window and then the close up of the flower. What's that there? Oh yeah, they used the inside of a padded bubble envelope - so great!
We hope you enjoyed your stroll through CHA - be on the lookout for tons of new stuff rolling in over the next couple of months. :) (There's so much we haven't even mentioned yet like Cosmo Cricket, Melissa Frances, Jenni Bowlin, Crate Paper, My Mind's Eye, Maya Road, BasicGrey, K&Company, Making Memories, imaginice, Best Creations, Graphic 45, Art Glitter, Dream Street, paper mache for projects and much, much more!)
Also, keep your eyes peeled because we'll be updating our calendar and sending a newsletter in the next couple of days.
And - last but not least: To tide you over until the new stuff starts rolling in, we want you to know we hauled three huge bags of goodies (2 extra suitcases!) all the way back from SoCal - so we're freshly stocked on new ribbons, trims and flowers!
Don't miss out on this year's Advent Calendar Class by Karen on Saturday, November 22nd at 1:00PM. You'll love all the glitter, sparkle and quality products used in this beautiful count-down-to-Christmas calendar - stop in to see it today!
Karen is all about the pretty details, so she started with a Melissa Francis 12x12 clipboard, and an entire sheet of glittered Tinsel Town stickers & fuzzy flocked Saint Nick paper by Creative Imaginations and topped it off with the beautiful Savannah flocked papers by 7 Gypsies, plenty of glittered chipboard, the cutest Christmas embellishments and of course---her signature use of the prettiest ribbons and trims!
