The "Bits And Pieces" album class and Saturday Night Crop were cancelled last weekend due to the wildfires. Both the Class and Crop have been rescheduled for this Saturday (we've tried to contact everyone who signed up for either/both last Saturday). Also, Christie's "Love My Pooch" layout will be taught this Saturday and you're welcome to come as early as 10 am for class!
It doesn't look like Paradise Scrapbook Boutique will be able to stay open today. Paradise has issued an evacuation from Wagstaff Road, down and that includes us. Right now the wind has died down so the smoke has settled in and is everywhere, the wind is supposed to come back around 2pm which is good for the air quality but bad for the fire. Don't worry about us...the fire is still pretty far away from the store and Karen reports that her home was safe when the fire turned towards the Butte College area yesterday. Thank you all for your concern...We've already had some volunteers willing to parachute in and rescue the paper if things take a turn for the worse. What women will do for scrapbooking supplies continues to astound and amazes us! Our hearts go out to those who have lost their homes already (we have heard 40 homes and counting) we hope that their families are safe. We'd like to thank all of the firefighters and emergency personnel working around the clock to get these fires under control. As for the Class and Crop tomorrow night, we're sorry but we will need to cancel and re-schedule. We apologize for the inconvenience but know that you understand. Stay Safe!
